My client is a multidisciplinary design studio that has been creating valued and memorable places through design innovation and collaboration for nearly thirty years. This is a newly created position to support the Managing Director in delivering the studio’s growth strategy, lifting market presence, growing their brand and delivering on its mission and vision.
This position requires a motivated and committed individual who is looking to develop their career in marketing and graphic design with a growing firm.
The successful candidates will need to meet or exceed the following criteria:
Primary Responsibilities
- Liaison with MD to coordinate and drive the marketing program and BD strategy
- Work to continue the Brand Refresh rollout and actively suggest new ideas
- Production of all submissions and proposals for new work, tenders in line with newly developed templates, style guides and procedures
- Submission Coordination including Checklist plan and working with Studio Leads to gather technical input as required to ensure time for quality “best foot forward” each and every time
- Ensure consistency of brand and quality standards across all forms of communications
- EDM – Coordinate content and setup to ensure EDM goes out on time in accordance with schedule
- Social media program maintenance & coordination – actively searching for content, regular updates etc
- Drive implementation of CRM and coordination in database of new business leads and work currently being undertaken to develop these leads across the business
- Content updates to website and ability to work with external agency to ensure currency of website
- Supporting the MD in the client relationship & management program and in maintaining a database to track client feedback
- Organisation of marketing and client events
- Design and develop various artwork and creative material for office marketing and stationery
- Other marketing and communications support as required
- Diary management, correspondence and other administrative support to the Managing Director as required
Essential Skills
- Strong skills and experience in the use of Adobe suite, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Passion for design and working in a creative, dynamic and busy environment
- Strong communication skills including being a good listener
- Strong organisational skills, time management and ability to meet deadlines under pressure
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work with multiple tasks and to deadlines with a “can do” and “go the extra mile attitude
- Formal qualifications in graphic design and/or marketing essential
Salary – Commensurate with Experience
