One of the most collaborative and creative agencies in Brisbane has the following opportunity for a switched on Senior Account Manager!
Senior Account Manager
Salary: $75,000 a year
Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the head of Account Service/Partner and other senior team members to deliver above and below the line campaigns for two to three of the agency’s clients
- Managing the day-to-day workflow, meetings, contact reports, briefs, timelines and budgets effectively by working collaboratively with the Traffic/Production, Creatives, Digital team and other Account Service teams
- You will be one of the agency’s primary contacts for key clients and be required to liaise with them regularly and ensure quality standards and client expectations are met. You would need to be professional and presentable for Client meetings and understand the Client/Agency relationships
- You will be required to multi-task across different projects and brands while providing support to senior staff
- Have a thorough understanding of media planning and scheduling and requirements of output to the media
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of Print, Press, Digital, Television, Social Media channels
- Demonstrate a growing knowledge of Website and App Development
- Your excellent time management skills will ensure reports and WIPs are accurate and up to date on a weekly basis
- Continue your learning and experiences whilst on the job
Required Experience:
- At least 1+yrs experience as a Senior Account Manager or a minimum of 3+years experience as an Account Manager , within an Advertising or Marketing Agency
- Demonstrate experience of workings on Clients and maintaining excellent relationships through that time. Government experience would be a bonus
- A proven track record in being hands-on is essential
- Experience or exposure to strategy development will be highly regarded
- Exceptional time-management skills combined with initiative to problem solve effectively is also essential
- Tertiary qualifications in Advertising or training in similar will be highly regarded
- Excellent written communications skills, both verbal and written, are also required.
If I can’t source someone in this position, then I’d be looking for an experienced Account Co-ordinator/Executive/Manager who has the necessary understanding to train into the Senior Account Manager Position, or Account Director who would be agreeable to manage strategy and day to day management of the Client.
