One of my most established clients has the need, due to internal promotion, for a new Senior Designer.

As a senior designer, you will be responsible to be one of the lead designers in the team. You will be expected to have a high level of conceptual design skills and be able mentor junior and mid weight designers and provide advice and recommendations when required.
You will be working closely with the Art Director, Brand Champions and the Head of Design and Marketing. You will play an integral role in assisting with the rollout of advertising campaigns and branding projects within the creative team. You will work to a daily WIP and be required to juggling the workload of a variety of internal, retail and corporate projects including creative concepts, print, digital, local store marketing, working on multiple brands within my clients businesses
Core Responsibilities:
- Create inspiring, strategic, and innovative ideas for my client that work in a fully integrated manner, both online and offline
- Work with partners, art directors, and Head of Creative to develop design solutions
- Responsible for the quality of execution and quality of thinking and creative
- Creating and directing user interface design, architecture and functionality according to usability best practices
- Come up with the best creative and innovative solutions achieved within budget
- Work as a team with the Copywriters and Designers
- Train and direct staff members who develop design concepts into art layouts or who prepare layouts for online, mobile, and offline purposes
- Responsible for seeing the idea through the creative process to final sign off
- Present concepts to clients for approval
- Ensure deadlines are met on time
Qualifications and Key Skills:
- Min 3-5 years of advertising or creative agency experience
- Highly competent in Creative Suite
- Competent in Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledgable and confident in designing for digital platforms
- Passionate about design, advertising and branding
- Ability to take a project through from concept to finished art in a timely manner
- Knowledge/experience in integrated campaigns across multiple channels is ideal: TV, radio, print, press, outdoor, DM and digital etc
- Great communication skills
- Able to multi-task and move along several projects simultaneously
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
