You can sit with us and get advice. It’s great experience if you haven’t interviewed for a few years. You can role play with us and get those interview communication skills back up to 100%.
What’s a Career Assessment
You know when you’re in a job for a while and they do that annual review. That tell you your high points and areas of improvement. You might get a raise. When you’re between jobs or are looking to step into a new role, even internally, it’s great to get an unbiased knowledgeable expert opinion. It’s a lot like a internal review. Only, you get a chance to talk about everything. It’s a little awkward to tell your boss the answer to “where do you see yourself in 5 years” if you plan to be somewhere else. Without all the facts your review isn’t really the full story.
You can tell us everything. We can help you find out where you should be and how to set goals to get there.
Know Your Value
This can be hard. You know the story of the frog in the pot?
There’s this frog in a pot of cold water. He’s having a whale of time. It’s lovely in there. It gets warm. It’s okay. Gradually it gets hot. But the frog doesn’t really notice because it happens too slowly. Poor froggy gets cooked.
When things happen slowly we don’t notice them. This is true of your skills too. Not the getting cooked bit, the gradual change thing.
You can tell us your history and we can help you recognise your value. This is key to knowing what you can ask for when getting the next job. It’s essential for your confidence too. If you’re awesome wouldn’t you want to know?
