As Account Director, through consulting and project management excellence, you will lead the strategic account direction of my client to deliver high quality solutions, tools and services to clients which enable them to achieve their business objectives.

Peer: Creative Director
Responsibilities:
The four key performance attributes required of this position are:-
Leadership
- Manage overall agency / client relationship strategy including implementation of an appropriate CRM platform
- Lead best practice account management culture including developing engagement planning and report templates etc.
- Mentor project executive(s) and development the account management function in line with the agency strategy
Relationship Development
- Establish rapport and maintain long-term relationships with existing and legacy client champions and executives
- Network through existing / legacy clients as well as Qld leaders to generate leads and support new business development
- Support the Managing Director with bids, tenders and proposals
Project / Campaign Delivery
- Create effective account delivery strategies and work collaboratively with the creative team to ensure the delivery of content within agreed timeframes/milestones
- Utilize sound project management processes and tools to instil discipline and effectively deliver on Cost, Quality, and Timing targets
- To be first point of contact with the client focusing on continuity of growth of the account, being able to look for additional ways in which the agency can further service the client. (Basically able to leverage more work)
Flexibility / Multi Tasking
- Support proposals, bids and tenders
- Coordinate Creative Plantation’s own internal branding and marketing strategy with Communications Advisor
- Any other tasks when required within a boutique independent agency environment
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, the individual should have:-
- 5 – 10 years proven experience of high quality (multi) account management
- Outstanding client servicing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a small to medium team environment
- Strong decision-making, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills
- Excellent multi tasking capabilities
- Marketing best practices including social media, branding and communications
- Ability to specify technical briefs &changes to creative team and industry partners
- A good understanding of Google and factors that influence high rankings in Google
- Ability to compile and analyse data and metrics and make decisions regarding campaign direction
